The Training

Our training sessions cover essential principles, including receiving the ball, dribbling skills, and ball control. Players will notice a significant improvement in their technique as they practice with the ball and develop their soccer skills.

The concepts

Concept 01

Change of direction

Players will learn the variety of movements available and how easily they can change direction keeping the ball close.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:
A controlled change of direction is a valuable tool to have as the ball is in your power. It confuses the opposing team and players can move as you drag the focus to another point in the pitch.
physical capacity:
Players will work on flexibility and mental reflexes to change their orientation to have the optimal fitness.

Concept 02

Stop & Starts

Knowing the timing and detecting the moment of when to dribble or pass the ball.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:
As the player holds the possession of the ball, the timing of the decision making is a crucial factor.
physical capacity:
A change of pace in the control involves a training than enhances fast thinking and readership of the game.

Concept 03

Feints

We’ll cover the best feints to confuse your rival, teaching the basics every soccer player should possess with this skill.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:
A feint is a set of tools along with the dribbling that comes in handy to “deceive” the opponent. You suddenly change the way you approach the ball and distract the attention of rivals.
physical capacity:
An optimal fitness and coordination is necessary to execute these movements, they will be trained during our sessions.

Concept 04

Speed

The speed that you run with the ball in your possession will be covered here, paying special attention to keeping the ball close to the feet as much as possible.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:

The speed while controlling the ball is extremely relevant, depending on the context of the game is a basis of any player.

physical capacity:

The focus will be oriented to improving the running speed, exploiting the legs as the main body part.

Concept 05

1 v 1 moves

To generate space and get closer to the goal, an attacking player should get opponents out of the way. Through technique, dribbling, among many other skills, we’ll develop a set of tools that the player can make use of once he/she faces this scenario.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:

During a one on one, the player needs a reportoire of tools that would allow him overcome these scenarios.

physical capacity:

Fitness levels will be covered to facilitate the set of tools every player has to overcome facing a rival leaving him behind.

Concept 06

Receiving & Passing

Players will learn how to control the balls in the air as well as on the ground, ball control and adequate receptions will be contemplated.

CONCEPT EXPLAINED:

To have a good vision for passing and an adequate reception is key as we build the game from this base.

physical capacity:

The focus here will mostly involved the technique, flexibility will be contemplated to enhance these skills.
